Seems a librarian in a California was fired for doing the right thing reporting a patron using the library computer for downloading child porn when the librarian’s supervisor refused to take action. Here’s the story. Seems the supervisor just wanted to warn the pedophile and was a tad miffed when the librarian took it upon herself to notify the Police who came and arrested the patron. Two days later the librarian was fired. By all means let’s continue to penalize the people that do the right thing. Better still let’s send the librarian’s supervisor to Washington D.C.
