I’m not a big malted fan…but this looks pretty damn tasty…
Mine would have to be Pink Floyd. I was a college student in Southern California at the time and would often make the drive across LA to the Forum to see the likes of Heart, Boston and the then new Pat Benetar. My last concert was Foreigner. They had an off night. To make things worse, their sound system did too, with much distortion and the shreik of feedback. I resolved, “no more.” Concert tickets to the big acts were getting increasingly expensive as was gasoline and parking.
I was this >< close to buying the ticket, but all of the buzz surrounding Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” tour did not succeed in tipping me into going to just one more. It would have been a once in a lifetime experience.

I saw Floyd in 77 during the Animals/Wish You Were Here tour…it was startlingly mundane. I was a little disappointed.
alanis in a small venue…oh yeah. i’m all over that. i love her accoustic treatment of jagged little pill.
also i tried like crazy to get tickets to see simon and garfunkel on their reunion tour. i failed. i was disappointed.
