greetings from the library

Not that being at a library is a bad thing…I live in various assorted libraries given the time.  But this particular instance is caused by the knuckleheads at Verizon.  My home internet is down.  They don’t know why but it will take them 48 hours to fix it.  That’s after 5 phone calls, being told I can’t use a netgear modem with Verizon DSL, being sold a new modem by Verizon and after being told, after an hour on the phone with a tech rep, that he would call me back in 15 – 20 minutes once that problem was solved.  That was 20 HOURS ago.  I called back and was told that it would be 48 hours before I heard anything.

Merry Christmas….sure glad I don’t depend on the net for xmas shopping and sending xmas cards………..much…..grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Maybe Ebenezer had a point…

  1. verizon must be run by the same a-holes who service pellet stoves. ours broke this week and they said 4 weeks till they can service it, which wouldn’t be a problem if it were JULY!
