it amazes me that so few people stop to appreciate, get into, or even pay attention to the joy and fun of what is happening…

  1. That is wonderful. What talent! Most people are ignoring him.

  2. Well first off – this is amazing piano work.

Secondly, don’t be too hard on the passersby. The person filming had obviously put a radio mic in/on the piano to capture that great sound which masks the fact that this railway station (St Pancrass international arrivals hall for the Eurostar rail service from Paris) is incredibly busy and very noisy. Walk away from this piano a few more feet and you would hardly hear it.

Every year these pianos are left all over London in public spaces for people top play. You don’t see this kind of playing often.

  3. Fantastic and I’d surely be dancing along, hoping someone nearby would twirl me for goodness’ sakes 🙂 Love it!

i can’t imagine not lingering if i wandered past this guy.

  5. Reblogged this on Impressions Travelogue and commented:
What’s more important? Finding your bags on the carousel and then letting your driver whisk you away? Or is it pausing in that airport, for just 5 minutes, to listen to some incredible, spontaneous Boogie-Woogie?
your answer to this question speaks volumes about who you are.
